Our promise to you

The incredible generosity of our supporters and local community never fails to amaze us. Every year that kindness enables us to have a tangible, positive effect on the healthcare provided by our staff.

Below are just some of the projects, big and small, that have been funded through charitable donations.

Our impact

help the nhs

We exist  to assist and to enhance the NHS where it has no budget to help.

maternity bereavement

We know our maternity bereavement service is already making a huge difference. Our next project aims to create a garden for our rehabilitation patients across three wards.

ward support

If you want to support a particular ward or  project, your donations will be kept in trust for use by them and only for those projects. The charity is independently regulated and we are responsible to a Charity Finance Committee that regulates what we do.

Your generosity makes all this possible. Find out more about the charity here.

Today the Charity project of the Jubilee Rehabilitation Garden was officially opened. It's a beautiful garden designed by Tom Stuart-Smith, and led by Max Harriman from Tom Stuart-Smith Ltd. Ben Stuart-Smith designed the garden shelter, and Seb Cox crafted the screen, and donated the beautiful table. Dan Riddleston's Bowles & Wyer laid the infrastructure and resin paving. The garden is based on the requirements asked for by patients and staff on the rehab wards at the time. It has been shown in several academic studies that being out of the clinical ward and in nature can speed recovery both physically and mentally.Today was a coming together of everyone who has contributed to this project. Corporate companies donated to make it happen both in funds, and in time, coming to planting days to keep costs down. Thank you to Jerry Mills and Mills Ltd who raised £40k and came to both planting days, JATO Dynamics who gave funds and time in planting, Canon who also gave funds and time, and Clare Watson Stockley Park Business Estate who continues to support us in funds and time. 🙏❤️Thank you to ex-patient John Maguire, Helen Johnston, and Tom Stuart-Smith for speaking so passionately and eloquently today 👏👏👏👏And lastly, but most importantly, thank you to all the staff and patients from Alderbourne, Stroke, and Daniel's ( Beaconsfield West) wards for coming today. We hope you get many years of benefit from it. ❤️💙 ... See MoreSee Less

There’s beauty in an old bin – if you put a plant in it and help reduce our Trust’s carbon footprint.Staff flocked to The Furze lawn to pick up a pot plant, help our charity and reduce our Trust’s ‘black bag’ waste. For the second year running, the Plants in Bins initiative was a popular draw, as colleagues got a beautiful bloom in exchange for a donation to our charity.Members of the Estates and Facilities Team were on hand to help establish the plant of choice in an old waste bin with holes drilled in the base, complete with gravel, compost and a splash of water. The bins have been surrendered by staff at our two hospitals who want to help us reduce non-recyclable waste. The sale raised £440. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. Well done guys 👏👏👏👏Picture: Steve Wedgwood, director of operational estates and facilities helps Jeevitha Sivadasan pick out a plant. ... See MoreSee Less
