Gifts and Prizes

Not all our ‘asks’ of our supporters revolve around cash donations. Gifts ‘in-kind’ also help us tremendously in terms of providing not only some lovely extra care for our patients but also help us to fundraise by way of events an competitions we host. For example, donations of toys or treats for the children’s wards at Christmas and Easter or toiletry bags, nightgowns and pyjamas for our elderly patients. We often host quiz nights, run sporting challenges for which we always need help in finding prizes and incentives to give away. Whatever is donated saves us from dipping into our reserves which means we can then use those reserves to help ward managers when they come to us with funding requests.
