New Rehabilitation Garden
We are now working on our next capital project: to create a sensory garden for patients in three of our rehab wards. The garden will be created just outside our new Jubilee Building and celebrity gardener to the Royals and eight times Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winner, Tom Stuart-Smith.

On 29th April 2022 the Ocean Pearl Maternity Bereavement Suite was opened at Hillingdon Hospital. It was the fruition of a two-year project. Requirements for a suite had been gathered from mums who had experienced a stillbirth on the Labour ward at Hillingdon, and two years followed during which £400k was raised to make it a reality.

The Ocean Pearl Suite is Hillingdon Hospital’s first ever Maternity Bereavement unit and the biggest capital project the charity was asked to co-fund. It involved us working with highly motivated individuals, the wider community and corporate partners to raise a 6-figure sum needed to build the unit, which opened in May 2022.
